Andy Schanz was born and raised in the Willamette Valley where he was homeschooled and started playing low brass instruments. Andy graduated in 2003 from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Music Performance and is the current director of the Oregon Tuba Ensemble. Andy also teaches private music lessons to middle and high school students of trombone, tuba, euphonium, electric guitar, and bass guitar. Additionally, he arranged the music for Willamette High School's 2009 marching band show and is a published bass guitar transcriber for Hal Leonard Corporation. This is Andy's first year singing in a caroling group, and so far, he's lovin' it!
